The complex will be around 11 metres high and contain 54 units - with two one bedroom units on the top floor, 22 two bedroom units and 30 three bedroom units.
Prices are negotiable, but range from around $680,000 for a one bedroom unit, $675,900 for a two bedroom and $1.42 million for a three bedroom.
There are two separate buildings that make up the complex, with each expected to cost $24 million to construct.
Director of Dwell Realty in St Georges Basin, Barbara Ferguson, said the units are "family-friendly" and come with a range of benefits including water views and proximity to the IGA and other shops.
"You're approximately 100 metres to the shopping centre, the chemist, hairdressers, House to Home, IGA supermarket, mechanics," said Ms Ferguson.
"It's eight minutes to the beach and there's a close fishing spot. Most units have an absolutely amazing view of the water.
"The beauty of them is that there's going to be secure underground parking. There are also four lifts in the building."
Construction on the development will begin once there are at least eight units sold, which could be as soon as the end of February.
"Because they are off the plan, we have got to sell eight before construction starts," said Ms Ferguson.
"It is possibly starting at the end of next month because the amount of interest we've had has just been astronomical."
Ms Ferguson said while some don't want the units to go ahead, more housing is needed in the area.
"People have said they should be putting shops there instead," she said. "But it is needed."
"You can't have businesses hoping they will be supported without the population."
Units are available to buy off the plan. For more information, visit this website.
