A South Australian man has been accused of speeding 50km/h over the limit at Bendalong, as police urged the community to consider others on the road during the holiday period.

Police said the driver was caught travelling at 128km/h in an 80km/h zone at Bendalong Road, Bendalong, at about 6.45pm on Sunday, January 2.
Officers attached to Traffic & Highway Patrol Command were conducting speed enforcement duties on Bendalong Road when they detected a silver Nissan Navara travelling at a high speed.
Police said the 48-year-old man continued before turning onto an unsealed road near Nerringillah Road and stopping in a paddock.
He was subjected to a roadside breath and drug test, which returned positive results.
The man was arrested and taken to Ulladulla Police station, where he underwent a breath analysis which returned a reading of 0.099.
He also underwent a secondary oral fluid test and the results have been sent for further analysis.
The man's licence was suspended, and he was issued a CAN mid-range PCA, drive in manner dangerous to public and Class A motor vehicle exceed speed more than 30km/h.
He is due to appear at Milton Local Court on February 17.
