Chief executive officer Rachel Kent said she wishes everyone a wonderful, safe festive season and looks forward to a new year with Bundanon in 2022.
"The opening season at Bundanon celebrates the creative energy and spirit of experimentation that has always been a part of this place," she said.
"The inaugural exhibition and program are an invitation to immerse yourself in the creative process, encouraging imagination and engagement.
"On the morning of Monday, December 13, Jacob Morris and Raymond Timbery from Gadhungal Murring hosted a beautiful smoking ceremony before Bundanon staff moved into the offices in the art museum.
"The first experiences to stay at Bundanon are now available to book online. Bundanon's new Ramox café will also open its doors on January 29 featuring a seasonal menu with paddock to plate produce.
"We are enormously grateful to the Australian and NSW State Governments who have so generously supported the Bundanon Masterplan and programs.
"I cannot thank and acknowledge them enough for their strong belief in and support of Bundanon, as we move into the opening of the extraordinary new facilities at Bundanon to the public. We welcome everyone to explore new art and architecture in this unique natural environment."
Bundanon hosts an extensive Artists in Residence program supporting new work, research and collaborations by artists and researchers.
The group also encourages residents to book the accommodation, explorations of the natural environment and tours of the art museum.
