Zach Churchill and Adam Ison, two well-known players in the Shoalhaven, both produced eye-catching efforts in the weekend's Creighton Cup series.
Churchill's century was vital for Illawarra in the final, while Ison's effort with the bat hurt the Shoalhaven outfit.
Ison's South Coast side took on the Shoalhaven at Howard Fowles Oval on Saturday and the Nowra junior took control with the bat.
South Coast won the toss, elected to bat and Ison, who opened the innings, made a half-century.
The South Coast, thanks to Ison's lead-up work, put on a commanding 9/264 runs on the scoreboard.
Shoalhaven shared the wicket-taking duties around with Kealan Blattner, Cooper Bramley and Justin Weller with two wickets.
The Shoalhaven could only reach 128 runs in its innings.
Illawarra in its first round match recorded a six-wicket victory over the Highlands to get its place in the final.
Illawarra and South Coast then faced off in the grand final on Sunday at Keira Village Park.
Illawarra was sent into bat, made 7/270 and in reply South Coast would only manage 99 runs.
Churchill, a Ulladulla United junior, was the match-winner without a doubt.
His 100 runs included three boundaries and two maximums.
Churchill only needed to face 128 balls to bring up his century.
Jarrod Colliss was the leading South Coast bowler with three wickets
Ison, early in the final, was looking good with the bat for South Coast and was looking to copy Churchill's effort.
However, the Nowra product was run out for 33 runs and his team fell way short of the target it needed for victory.
Shoalhaven went on to play the Highlands in the three versus four playoff on Sunday and suffered a seven wicket loss.
