NSW local government elections were held on Saturday, December 4, with 82,981 enrolled voters in the Shoalhaven, according to the Electoral Commission.
Around 39 per cent of votes have been counted with a 6 per cent informal vote rate.
The new-look council of 13 will be made up of an elected mayor and four councillors from each of the three wards.
At this stage, the mayoral contest is still undecided and a result is likely by the end of the week.
Incumbent Shoalhaven Greens Mayor Amanda Findley has 34.26 per cent of votes, followed by former mayor and former Christian Democrat MLC Paul Green on 27.18 per cent.
As for councillors, there are some that are likely to have snatched themselves a seat at the table.
Ward 1
Covers Kangaroo Valley, Berry, Shoalhaven Heads, Bomaderry and Nowra.
So far, re-contesting Shoalhaven Independents councillor John Wells looks to have scored a seat with 170 votes. Greens candidate Tonia Gray also looks like she will be elected with 108 votes.
Ward 2
Covers Jervis Bay, Vincentia, Huskisson, Culburra and South Nowra.
At this stage, Greens candidate Evan Christen has 75 votes, while the Shoalhaven Independents group candidates Greg Watson, is at 123 votes and Mitchell Pakes, 161.
Independent candidate Paul Ell is also sitting at 123 votes.
Ward 3
Covers Ulladulla, Milton and Sussex Inlet.
Re-contesting Shoalhaven Independents group councillors Mark Kitchener is at 191 votes and Patricia White is at 180.
Greens Mayor Amanda Findley is at 132 and Labor candidate Liza Butler, at 47.
Results will go to preferences and may not be known until after pre-poll, postal votes and iVotes are counted.
