In its tenth year, the proceeds of the annual Christmas sale will go towards funding $1000 scholarships to two students each from Bomaderry High Scool, Nowra High School and Shoalhaven High School.
Leftover proceeds go to the Shoalhaven Education Fund.
Communications officer for the Berry Mens Shed, Richard Wiseman, said the scholarships go to students who have "exceeded in their performance" and shown resilience.
"It (the scholarship) is designed for students that made it through situations out of their control and being able to rise above it and move forward," he said.
"And the money is used for them to assist them in further education. If it's a trade, like at TAFE they might use that money to buy tools and equipment.
"It could be used to update laptops."

The sale is set to go ahead "rain, hail or shine" this Saturday, December 4, and will kick off at 8am at 146 North Street, Berry.
The Berry Mens Shed has over 60 active members who attend to work on woodworking projects and other activities to create items for sale.
The idea for the scholarships came out a desire to help the community after having leftover funds from doing repair work for the community and other sale proceeds.
Mr Wiseman said there will be "literally hundreds" of items up for grabs at the sale, with the majority made of timber.
"They can be possum boxes, bird feeders, bread boards, tool boxes, wine cask holders, things of this nature," he said.
"We also make what's called our obelisks, which are large triangle type garden ornaments.
"This year there will also be a number of paintings."
