After the disappointment of having to postpone the 2021 show due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, the Nowra Show Society have been hard at work planning an amazing spectacular for community participation and enjoyment in 2022.
The show will be held on Friday and Saturday, February 4-5 with Nowra Show President Mark Stewart saying his organisation is "keen to showcase the area to the community."
"We invite others to become involved either as a participant, a competitor or as a volunteer, there is something for everyone," he said.

And something new for the society, tickets for next year's show will be sold online.
"The big push for us this year is to move people to online ticketing as it is one of the requirements to make our event COVID safe," Mr Stewart said.
All the regular and loved experiences will return, such as the woodchop, cattle, mini goats, alpacas, horse competitions and of course the ever-popular pavilion exhibition.
The pavilion had more than 3000 entries in 2019 and with the wonderful season being experienced and limited opportunities for exhibitors to present because of the pandemic, the committee are expecting a huge number of entries in 2022.
This year both Friday and Saturday evening you can enjoy what must be one of the biggest and best action-packed line up of attractions to hit the South Coast in many years.
On Friday evening you can hold your breath as the bulls take centre stage as we welcome the cowboys and the bulls with the return of the highly anticipated rodeo.
Keep holding on to your seats as the team from ARD Freestyle Moto X put on a thrilling display of jumps and tricks that will be sure to have everyone in awe of the skill and talent of the riders.
Saturday night will see the action continue with another round of Moto X from ARD, a display from local heroes from the Rural Fire Service, before welcoming back the now traditional and very popular, show stopping action of the Smash Up Derby to the centre ring.
Watch as local drivers and their derby cars smash their way to try and be crowned the Shoalhaven's Smash Up Derby Champion.
All the activities of the show and the attractions will culminate in a stunning fireworks display on Saturday night.
Other highlights will include, a large Defence display, the Rural Fire Service highlighting their many skills, Stella Studio on stage, the poultry show (on Saturday), dog high jump and the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of our feathered and furry friends with various animal displays.
This year the Exhibition Hall will once again be filled with all manner of stands, including the Albatross Musical Theatre Company (AMTC), Care Corner, The CWA and other groups.
It is important to know the show welcomes other community groups to come along and be part of the show.
As stated, a first for the show society, all tickets for the Nowra Show are available on line through the Nowra Show website.
As part of a special promotion the Nowra Show is giving everyone the chance to win an incredible prize to escape to the 2022 Sydney Royal Easter Show.
The lucky winner will receive accommodation and breakfast at the five-star Pullman Hotel Sydney Olympic Park while the Sydney Royal Show is on.
All the information is available on the Nowra Show Facebook page or at www.nowrashow.org.au website.
The 2022 Nowra Show is not to be missed.
