The Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District confirmed one resident who tested positive is located in the 2541 postcode and the other is located in the 2540 postcode.
Numbers have remained low and steady in the Shoalhaven, with one new case recorded in Wednesday's update for the LGA, and no new cases recorded in Monday and Tuesday's update.
Across the ISLHD, a total of eight new locally-acquired COVID cases were recorded in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.
Six Wollongong residents tested positive to the virus, with half of these cases linked to known cases in the community.
The ISLHD reported an 83-year-old man from the Shellharbour area has died at Wollongong Hospital.
He was a close contact of a known case and had received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine. The ISLHD confirmed he also had underlying health conditions.
The ISLHD "extends its sincere condolences to his loved ones".

NSW Health has listed one new COVID exposure site in South Nowra overnight.
Anyone who attended Shoalhaven Shooting Supplies on 2/17 Bellevue Street from 10:50am to 11:05am on Wednesday, October 27 is a casual contact.
Anyone who visited the venue at the time listed must come forward for a COVID test and self-isolate until they receive a negative result.
Two exposure sites in Nowra were listed online yesterday and the same advice applies.

- Nowra: Wan Long Oriental Store Nowra, 86 Worrigee Street4:05pm to 4:20pm on Tuesday, October 26

As for the state, case numbers have climbed back over 300 after three consecutive days of recording under 200 cases.
NSW recorded 308 new locally-acquired COVID 19 cases and four deaths in the 24 hours to 8pm.
The state has 88.7 per cent of its population aged over 16 years of age fully vaccinated, while 93.7 per cent have had a single dose.
The community is also being reminded that the ISLHD's vaccination clinics are now offering a booster dose of the Pfizer vaccine to people aged 18 years and older, six months after their second dose.
Appointments are preferred and can be made by calling the ISLHD Booking Team on 1300 096 365 during business hours, or online via the ISLHD COVID-19 Vaccination Support form.
In addition to the district's clinics, booster shots are available at local general practitioners and pharmacies.
