According to the most recent data supplied by Coordinare - South Eastern NSW PHN, 81.1 percent of the Shoalhaven population has been vaccinated.
Coordinare's list shows the percentage of people aged 15 and over who have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
The Shoalhaven is now moving towards its overall target of 95 percent.
Some coastal regions on the South Coast are doing better than the Shoalhaven while one major area is a little lower.
The Eurobodalla's rate stands at an impressive 86.8 percent, while neighbouring Bega local government area has an 81.7 percent vaccination rate.
Wollongong has some work to do and its 78.2 vaccination rate is one of the lowest on Coordinare's list.
The Kiama area with 85.7 percent looks to have the situation under control and heading inland the Upper Lachlan Shire is doing well with its 84.5 percent vaccination rate.
