In the NRL's worst-kept secret, the former Shark was among three new signings announced on Friday afternoon, with second-rower Jack Gosiewski switching from Manly and versatile back Tautau Moga joining from the Rabbitohs.

The trio have each signed a one-year deal.

The Woods addition will grab the most attention, as the 30-year-old joins his fourth NRL club.

The prop is expected to add experience and grunt to the Dragons' pack, with the prop having played 233 NRL games with the Tigers, Bulldogs and Sharks.

He has also represented Australia in 17 Tests and played 14 State of Origin games for NSW.

Gosiewski becomes the second Sea Eagle to head to Wollongong this week, where he will link up with Moses Suli. The 27-year-old forward has played more than 50 NRL games to date.

"We look forward to the arrival of Aaron and Jack, in addition to other key personnel, ahead of the upcoming season," Dragons general manager of football Ben Haran said.

"They will complement the development of our younger players and add another dimension to our evolving forward pack."

Meanwhile, Moga has become an NRL journeyman over the past decade, playing more than 70 games for the Roosters, Cowboys, Broncos, Newcastle and South Sydney.

The 27-year-old brings a wealth of experience to the Red V.

"Tautau hasn't had the easiest rugby league journey but has shown plenty of resilience and fight to be in a position where he will certainly add value to our squad," Haran said.

"Tautau's experiences over the last decade will hold him in good stead as a seasoned member of our outside back ranks."

The three signings continue an active off-season for the Dragons, who have also added Suli, Moses Mbye, Francis Molo, Jaydn Su'A and George Burgess to their 2022 roster.
