After operating from the same office in Kinghorne St more than 20 years, the team from Nowra RMB Lawyers are shaking things up.

They have packed up their desks and moved into the recently restored - and aptly named - "The Iconic" (26 Berry St).

This beautiful heritage building - located in the heart of the CBD - has been fitted out with a series of modern, functional, state of the art office spaces.

As the first tenants, RMB's legal team will occupy Suite One. However, Managing Partner Craig Osborne believes The Iconic will soon be a very important building in the Shoalhaven.

In fact, he says, it will become the heart of their law firm's sprawling network, which encompasses much of Southern NSW.

"This office has been built from scratch to make it a good environment to work with our highly valued clients," Mr Osborne said.

RMB Lawyers has always shown a lot of dedication to the Shoalhaven community.

Ever since their merger with Morton & Harris in 2008, they have developed a reputation for excellence in representing their clients.

In fact, their reputation is so sterling that the Shoalhaven component of the RMB business has grown by 65 per cent in the 12 years.

While RMB have a diverse team of lawyers with many different specialties, Mr Osborne says it has been their ability to help local people and businesses access their legal rights in financial matters that has really been the driving force behind their growth.

In particular, he says, their ability to settle disputes in the areas of property development, building and construction law, and workplace and employment law, as well as their ability to settle compensation cases that has seen their workload accelerate at a rapid pace.

In June of this year, RMB Lawyers also merged with Johnston Tobin Solicitors.

The law firm has a long tradition of community participation and support. They are heavily involved in local activities and believe it is crucial to support the community that supports them.

Mr Osborne says it is equally important to be approachable and maintain the utmost professionalism in all of their dealings.

"There is no pomposity in the way we operate," he said.

"We are easy to contact, easy to meet, we like listening closely to what we are asked to achieve for our clients, and we go out after it as the clients' representative, quickly and efficiently," he continued.

"We have also listened closely to what our clients wanted in terms of office space and we have built our new office in Berry Street, Nowra, to meet and exceed the needs and expectations of the Shoalhaven."
