'Ready for the gunnas'
The old Liberal guard of Gilmore has risen for over 20 years. Pre COVID we saw the closure of the paper mill, rubber factory, Nowra mail centre, unemployment a disaster and a money drought with many shops closed. Three public hospitals under stress with no MRI, no major infrastructure like the Nowra bypass, except for Mainroad 92, or new hospital for the South Coast electorate.

But with the Lions Club and the Rudd government came the Cancer Centre at Nowra and the GP Super Clinic which is now defunct from its original charter and now we have a captain's pick again.
A Minister for Transport who sent NSW jobs overseas - trains/ferries/buses wasted billions on Sydney transport while in Gilmore people suffer with public transport from Kiama to Bega rail/bus etc all because Gilmore was listed as a safe Liberal seat. We are ready for the gunnas and the fake news to come. Nowra bridge is only a replacement for the old bridge not new infrastructure.

Just get vaccinated
A national mandate should have been put in place a long time ago as soon as supplies of vaccine were made available.
No if, buts about it and we wouldn't be in this avoidable mess today. All these anti vaxers, anti this, anti that and other groups who think they have the right to say no to vaccinate, their law is not above the law of the land. They do not have the right to go into the market place infecting and endangering their communities lives or even causing death. Breaching the rules, breaking the law is a criminal offence and punishable by law. Governments must start talking tough to these offenders.
I'm 86 and very scared of needles, but I bit the bullet and had my first shot, soon to get my second. I did the right thing for myself, my family and my community. I say to all those "anti's", stop complaining, and get the jab before the virus gets you!

Is justice served or is it blind?
In 1992 the then premier of NSW, Nick Greiner was found guilty by ICAC, The Independent Committee Against Corruption, of corruption and dutifully while being investigated he stood down from his position as Premier. He was later found to be innocent of the charges by a court of judicial law. It is ironic that Mr Greiner should be called before ICAC, as he himself was the creator and instigator of the implementation of ICAC.
Thirty years later, another NSW's Premier is being called before ICAC. By Ms Berejiklian's own instigation that any member of NSW Government found to be under investigation, shall immediately step down until the investigation is finalised and they are exonerated of all charges brought against them. So dutifully she stepped down and took the further step of resigning from the government. "Regardless of politics', one can only stand in admiration of this outstanding lady, admiration truly earned by her strength of purpose, determination, and drive that is undeniable and goes without question. Ms Berejiklian has shown what it means to be a leader among leaders. She became Premier in 2017 as NSW entered a very bad fire season followed by disastrous floods. Then came the catastrophic bushfires of 2019- 2020, at the same time as the fires we had the first cases of COVID in NSW.
All through this Ms Berejiklian was there at the helm and a lot of the time at the forefront of events. While all of these disasters were taking place around the state she did not waiver from her duties as the leader of this state. The running of the state had to be carried out. It goes without question, that under Ms Berejiklian's stewardship NSW has completed, embarked on or detailed the largest infrastructure building program NSW has seen in some 70 years. It is a shame she will not be at the helm to continue to lead the team with her drive, determination and care.
