Walker had his best season in the NRL since making his debut in 2016, by scoring 16 tries, setting up another 33 tries and assisting with 46 line breaks in his 25 matches this campaign.
This season also saw Walker captain the Indigenous All Stars, finish third in the Dally M count for player of the year and win the Dally M Five-Eighth of the Year - all while guiding the red and green to their first grand final since 2014.
Walker becomes the fifth player to win multiple George Piggins Medals, joining Sam Burgess, John Sutton, Greg Inglis and Damien Cook as players who have won the award more than once.
This was one of four awards Walker won at the annual George Piggins Medal Presentation event, also taking home The Burrow Appreciation Award (NRL), the Jack Rayner Players' Player award and the Souths Cares award.
