With the 70 per cent double vaccination target reached, NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet, unveiled changes to the reopening NSW roadmap.
The changes include allowing up to 10 visitors (not counting children 12 and under) to a home (previously five), lifting the cap on outdoor gatherings to 30 people (previously 20) and increasing the cap for weddings and funerals to 100 people (previously 50).
"Vaccinations are the key to life returning to normal and the changes today will help family and friends reconnect, get kids back to school and get businesses back up and running sooner," Perrottet said.
"NSW is putting in the hard yards and it's important people continue to turn out in droves to be vaccinated."
As such, Cricket NSW advises training will be allowed to commence on Monday, ahead of round one on November 6.
"Currently no organised community sports competitions or programs are permitted until NSW hits the 80 per cent double dose vaccination milestone, For cricket, this includes but not limited to Woolworths Cricket Blast, leagues, trials, friendlies, internal games or similar," a Cricket NSW spokesperson said.
"On top of that people from Greater Sydney are not able to travel to areas considered regional and vice versa until NSW hits the 80 per cent double dose vaccination milestone.
"It is the responsibility of those participating in any gathering to comply with the vaccination or medical exemption requirements and obey the public health orders at all times."
