This new service will allow Shoalhaven Libraries members to reserve library items, and then collect them from their nearest library branch.
Here's how it works:
1. Click.
To order items, place them on reserve on our catalogue or the Shoalhaven Libraries app.
2. Call.
A library staff member will phone you to confirm your collection date, time, and location.
3. Collect.
On the day of collection, call the library to let them know when you arrive.
You will need to have your library card or another form of ID, and your own bag.
A staff member will meet you at the collection station to check your ID and loan your item/s.
Strict hygiene procedures are in place to protect our staff, library members and the wider community.
You will need to wear a mask and check in (with a QR code or with library staff), sanitise your hands and maintain 1.5m distance at all times.
Collection Times
10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm, Monday to Friday
Collection Stations
Nowra Library - Meeting room external door
Ulladulla Library - Front entrance
Sanctuary Point - Front entrance
How many items can I borrow?
Library members may reserve up to 10 items at a time.
There are no restrictions on how often members can reserve items.
While all reservations are currently free items may be unavailable or delayed due to the automatic renewals we have in place during lockdown.
To avoid delays, it's recommend reserving items that are currently in stock.
Please ensure you are collecting from a library in your LGA. Staff will notify you when your items are ready.
How do I return my items?
Items are to be returned to our return chutes at your local library branch.
