The Shoalhaven has recorded one new case of COVID-19 on Thursday, September 16, bringing the region's total to 26 cases since the outbreak of the Delta-variant.

The new positive case is a resident of the Shoalhaven LGA and the investigation to their source of infection is ongoing, according to the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District.
The ISLHD has recorded 44 new cases of COVID-19 overnight.
Of these numbers, Wollongong has recorded 21 new cases, Shellharbour has recorded 20 new cases, Kiama has recorded two new cases, with the Shoalhaven recording one new case.
The source of infection is under investigation by NSW Health.
The state has recorded 1,351 new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.

No new cases were acquired overseas and 17 previously reported cases have been excluded following further investigation.
The total number of cases in NSW since the beginning of the pandemic is 48,152.
NSW Health has been notified of the deaths of 12 people who had COVID-19.
Health Minister Brad Hazzard said 10 of today's 12 fatalities, six men and six women, were not vaccinated.
Mr Hazzard also advised that due to changing conditions, two local government areas - Lismore and Albury - would return to lockdown at 6pm for seven days.
NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro also announced a number of regional LGAs to be lifted from stay-at-home orders, including Bega.
The other areas lifted from lockdown are Blayney, Bogan, Cabonne, Dungog, Forbes, Muswellbrook, Narrabri, Parkes, Singleton, Snowy Monaro and the Upper Hunter.
