NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro reiterated to the Register on Thursday that sites are only published onto the website where they are considered a 'high risk' to the community.
"Remember, exposure sites aren't necessarily all published (online) if we are able to identify all those that were exposed for that period of time," said Mr Barilaro.
"We use QR codes and CCTV, if they're not front facing businesses or venues, and if we are comfortable that we've captured everybody in that exposure, then we don't put those exposure sites up."
Coles Nowra said they were advised by NSW Health that a person with COVID-19 visited the store between 10:13am and 10:20am on Thursday, September 9.
The signage outlines that the supermarket has since undergone frequent cleaning and sanitisation, as well as a "comprehensive" deep clean since the person visited the store.
The sign also states NSW has confirmed there is "no current risk to the public" and customers can visit the store safely.
All customers are to monitor for symptoms and if symptoms develop, to get tested and isolate until a negative result is received.
