NSW Health's Sewage Surveillance Program has also detected fragments of the virus that causes COVID-19 in Gerroa sewerage.
The Gerroa sewage treatment plant serves around 7,200 people, with the fragments detected on Friday, September 10.

The Illawarra Shoalhaven region has added 27 cases to their numbers on Monday, with Wollongong recording 12 cases, Shellharbour recording 11 cases, the Shoalhaven recording two cases and Kiama recording one case.
The state recorded 1,257 new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.
NSW Health has been notified of the deaths of seven people who had COVID-19.
A man in his 90s from Dubbo died at the St Mary's Villa Aged Care Facility, where he acquired his infection.
A man in his 80s from Sydney's inner city died at St Vincent's Hospital.
A woman in her 60s from south western Sydney died at Campbelltown Hospital.
A man in his 80s died at Nepean Hospital. He acquired his infection at the Hawkesbury Living Aged Care Facility in Sydney's north west. His is the second death linked to an outbreak at this facility.
A man in his 90s from south western Sydney died at Liverpool Hospital.
A woman in her 90s from Sydney's inner west died at Concord Hospital.
A man in his 80s from south western Sydney died at Sutherland Hospital.
Ms Berejiklian urged people to get vaccinated noting that vaccination rates had declined over the weekend.
The total number of vaccines administered in NSW is now 8,189,640 with 3,030,040 doses administered by NSW Health to 8pm last night and 5,159,600 administered by the GP network and other providers to 11:59pm on Saturday 11 September 2021.
