Depending on health advice, driver testing is set to return in September.
A Service NSW spokesperson confirmed that driver testing in NSW had been suspended until September 10 in regional NSW and September 30 in Greater Sydney at this stage, in line with lockdowns.
"Once driver testing resumes, Service NSW will contact affected customers to rebook their tests as a priority," they said.

Currently Driver Knowledge Tests (also known as L tests) are only being conducted for essential purposes where the person is required to drive to earn income or access essential services.
Service NSW confirmed that Learner licence holders whose licence has expired while tests have not been available will be able to retake their Driver Knowledge Test for free.
"Any changes made by Service NSW have been in response to the latest health advice and risks associated with COVID-19."
Service NSW said it will announce plans for working through the backlog and returning to normal service levels as soon as it is permitted and safe to do so.
