It comes from Ulladulla last Sunday from Betty, who now aged in her 80s, who lives in the Wandandian area.
Betty "had dashed in" to Coles Ulladulla last weekend to "grab a few essential items".
While shopping in one of the aisles, the basket of a young fellow shopper brushed Betty's arm, breaking the skin.
"I'm getting old and my skin is so thin that any impact can peel the skin," she said.
"The young woman was beside herself. It was just a brush, could have happened to anyone, yet It peeled back the skin on my arm.
"She [the young women] was really worried and went to get help including a band-aid to help stop the bleeding.

"I was fine and reassured her of the same but she was really worried about me and so kind, as were the staff at the supermarket."
It was a pure accident, one of those things that happens. Your act of kindness and your concern was just lovely. It was very touching and generous
Patched up, Betty continued on her way to complete her shopping.
"I ran into her again a couple of aisles later and she was again very concerned and apologetic," Betty said.
"I told her I was fine and it was all good."
As Betty neared the checkout, the male staff member who had provided the band-aid again approached her to see if she was okay.
Betty asked about the young woman again, just wanting to again say thank you for her kindness but was informed she had already left the store.
However, the staff member said the woman "left this for you to go towards your shopping" and presented Betty with $20.
"I was totally blown away," Betty said.
"I never expected anything like this. It was a pure accident, one of those things that happens.
"It was a lovely gesture and I just wanted to say thank you to her for showing so much care and concern for me.
"We hear a lot of horrible things at the moment and how tough everyone is doing it, with COVID restrictions etc, and we are, but this was incredible,
"I never expected this - today when so many are doing it tough, $20 is $20.
"I didn't get her name, but whoever you are, you know who you are, and from me a special thank you.
"Your act of kindness and your concern was just lovely. It was very touching and generous."
