Needing nine points in his club's round 25 fixture with the Cowboys, the Gerringong product chalked up 18 - including one try and seven goals - in the Sea Eagles 46-18 win, to overtake Bulldogs' Hazem El Masri (288 points) and finish on 304.
As well as that, the Group Seven junior became the first player in NRL history to score more than 300 points in the regular season, before playing a starring role in Manly's try of the year on full-time.
He now joins El Masri (342) and Brett Hodgson (308) as the only players to score 300 points in a season, including the finals.
El Masri achieved his feat in 28 games in 2004 and Hodgson in 28 games in 2005 with both winning premierships that year with the Bulldogs and Wests Tigers respectively.
This tally also saw 24-year-old Garrick finished the regular season as the NRL's leading points scorer on 304 points, thanks to 21 tries and 110 goals from his 24 matches.
Garrick's feats in the win over the Cowboys add to his impressive list of achievements in 2021 including equalling the club's record of 30 points in a game (shared by Ron Rowles 1954 and Matthew Ridge 1996) against Canterbury-Bankstown in July, moving into equal third with Mike Eden (1982) for most goals in a match (11) (behind only Matthew Ridge in 1994 and 1996), jumping up to ninth on the list of players to have scored more than 500 points (596) for Manly and adding his name to the list of Sea Eagles who have scored four tries in a match, after his efforts against Gold Coast in June.
The Kiama High School alumnus and his Sea Eagles, who finished the regular season in fourth, will play minor premiers Melbourne on Friday night in week one of the finals.
