Morris, who has been dealing with a hamstring injury, will replace the injured Joey Manu (facial fractures) in the centres and is one of four Roosters, along with Jared Waerea-Hargreaves (knee), Adam Keighran (head knock) and Angus Crichton (suspension), named to return to the field at Mackay's BB Print Stadium on Thursday.
Lining up alongside Morris will be fellow Group Seven product Drew Hutchison (Albion Park-Oak Flats), who will start at five-eighth.
These are just two of numerous South Coast talents that will line up for their respective NRL sides during the final round of the 2021 home and away season.
On Friday, the Sharks, headlined by Narooma's Teig Wilton and Pambula-born Jack Williams, will lock horns with the Storm - whose side welcome back Bega's Dale Finucane from a head knock.
He will start at lock alongside former Shellharbour Shark Chris Lewis.
Later that night, as the second part of the Cbus Super Stadium double-header, Batemans Bay's Brad Arthur and his Eels take on the Panthers.
Then on Saturday, Moruya's Rhys Kennedy and his Broncos host the Knights at Suncorp Stadium - with the latter's side coached by Batemans Bay's Adam O'Brien.
Next up is the clash between the Cowboys and Sea Eagles at Queensland Country Bank Stadium, where Gerringong's Reuben Garrick needs nine points for Manly-Warringah to break the all-time regular-season point-scoring record.
The final game that day will pit South Sydney against St George Illawarra.
Nowra-born Cody Walker will start at six for the Rabbitohs, while Gerringong's Tariq Sims will again skipper the Red V from the back-row - with South Coast Black Cockatoo's Jayden Sullivan at hooker.
Gerringong's Jackson Ford and Park's Adam Clune, who this week penned a two-year deal with Newcastle, are on the Dragons' extended bench.
Sunday's slate will kick-off at Cbus Super Stadium when the Titans battle the Warriors.
The hosts are coached by Milton-Ulladulla's Justin Holbrook and have Kiama's Mitch Rein at nine, while Shellharbour's Euan Aitken is in the Warriors' second-row.
Milton's Jack Murchie is again among New Zealand's reserves.
The round will wrap up with the Wests and Canterbury-Bankstown fixture, with the latter playing without the suspended Adam Elliott from Tathra.
