Set on 1.6 hectares, the four-bedroom, two-bathroom (plus powder room downstairs) home is located at 388C Main Road, Cambewarra.
It has a price guide of $3 million to $3.2 million.
According to CoreLogic, the house previously sold in May 2019 for $1.2 million.
The current owners bought the home after deciding to relocate from Victoria.
"We just really loved the location, loved the style of the home and saw the potential of what we could create," one of the sellers said.
"It was one of those things when you get a good vibe about something.
"The bones of the house were just brilliant. The house was built really well, and it just needed to be brought into current times."
The seller said they had spent "a significant amount" on the property.
"We've put new bathrooms in, new kitchen, flooring, painting, paving around the outside, a new nine-metre by nine-metre shed, we put solar panels on, verandahs," he said.
"We also put a new driveway in.
"There's really not a part of the property that we didn't touch. We didn't cut any corners.
"If someone's looking for a tree change, it's the perfect property."
The main bathroom has been renovated and tiled entirely in Carrara Marble.
One of the bedrooms has been converted into a gym with a sauna.
The grounds are filled with native plants and established trees, and the acreage has a flat clearing.
It also has a large in-ground concrete water tank, a BioCycle aerobic wastewater treatment system and solar panels on the roof of the shed.
The seller said they were now retired, and had put the property on the market as they planned, COVID pending, to undertake a two-year caravan trek around Australia.
"We tend to be a little... Gypsy is probably a good word," the seller said.
"We like to move around and experience life.
"We're not the type of people who live in one place for too long. We're ready for the next adventure."
Selling agent, Carrie Bond from Bond Lifestyle Properties said the home was "almost walk in, walk out... it's ready to move in".
"There's absolutely nothing to do to this place, and they've used all high-end materials," she said.
"They do everything as if it's going to be their last home."
Ms Bond said the interest in this property so far was all from Sydney-siders.
