With the whole of NSW being issued stay at home orders from 5pm Saturday, August 14, the Shoalhaven District Football Association, Shoalhaven Netball Association, Shoalhaven Hockey and Nowra Velo Club, among others, have been forced to make alterations to their respective 2021 campaigns.
The SDFA quickly postponed all its round 17 fixtures of the Bolden Blackmore Shield matches scheduled for Saturday, with its final round women's games on Tuesday following suit - with a decision on the remainder of the season expected in the coming days.
Shoalhaven netball completed its round 17 slate of games before the lockdown started but the fate of its round 18 schedule is up in the air - while this week's Shoalhaven hockey matches are off.
Sunday's annual George Johnson Memorial race, hosted by the Nowra Velo Club at Albatross Aviation Tech Park, has also been postponed.
