Blocking off parts of the car park, the fire trucks attended the scene from the Shoalhaven fire station and the Nowra fire station and cleared the fuel, which was caused by a hole in the fuel tank.
"We were able to render it safe and it's now all cleared," confirmed the Shoalhaven fire station officer Sean Doohan.
Mr Doohan said diesel spills can pose a hazardous risk, however the firefighters effectively cleared it before it ran into any drainage systems.

Four firefighters were on the scene, with the second truck from the Nowra fire station arriving on the scene for a short time.
It took around an hour to clear the spill.
Mr Doohan said he could not confirm whether the ute had been picked up yet.
