DAVE 'Eagle' Rutherford is not a one-eyed Manly supporter.
He is a two-eyed Manly supporter - one eye is maroon and the other is white.
As we step into his Man Cave or Manly Cave, a flash of all things maroon greets you.
You name it and Eagle Rutherford has it.
For three years, Dave wanted to extend this man cave - he needed space for his full-length Manly table tennis table - as you do.
The bar was another welcomed addition to the cave.
Dave started working on the cave, in his home pretty much located midway between Milton and Ulladulla, nine years ago.
He has a pool table, bar stools, close to 1000 footy cards, Igor the Manly mascot hangs around [which is one of his oldest pieces] out in the cave, prints of the likes of David 'the Wolfman' Williams and Steve 'Beaver' Menzies, a Manly golf bag and so much more.
You can see why he won an award, a while back, for the best Manly cave and even got a video from various Sea Eagles players - like the great Graham Eddie, congratulating him on the win.
"It's so much fun," he said.
Dave has been getting Manly related presents since his early teens and the collection has just grown and grown.
"I have been a Manly supporter since I was about six years of age," he said.
"Ebay is my friend and I find things on there. I just keep on accumulating things and people give me things."
But why Manly Dave?
"The colours - I love the colours," he said.
"My dad George was a Roosters supporter - luckily he did not brainwash me."
He grew up in Bombala, then Moruya and then Mittagong, which if my geography is right are not on or even near Sydney's Northern Beaches.
Dave thinks he can accumulate a little more stuff.
He tries to enjoy the cave when he can. He plays with Space Invaders Machine [which is in Manly colours of course], has regular games of table tennis and watches the free to air footy on the TV.
The table tennis table is his current favourite piece of his massive collection.
Now - just sidestepping this Manly obsession for a moment - Dave and wife Jennie are well known in the community and have set up Ulladulla's Walk 'n' Talk.
Now back to the cave.....
So Dave because everyone hates Manly - has anyone ever refused to enter the cave?
"They shake their heads but they don't refuse to come in," he said.
Dave even changed his middle man to Eagle, legally, about a two-and-a-half years ago
He even made the Daily Telegraph for a story which was headlined "Eagle makes a name for himself".
Wombat [Graham Eddie] was his favourite player years ago, then Steve Menzies, Brett Stewart and now it's the one and only Turbo Tom Trbojevic.
"After the first four rounds, people were saying Manly was going to get the wooden spoon and I was saying what a wooden spoon? We have never had one in 75 years," Dave said.
"I knew when Turbo came back that we would not get the spoon but I did not think he would make as big an impact as he did.
"Now they are talking about us being dark-horses to win the comp."
Lastly, he thinks the cave is currently at its peak.
"It has just been so much fun," he said about his dream Manly Man Cave.
Yep - he is that bloke you might have seen driving around in a car decorated in the Manly colours and emblem.
