The Shoalhaven Food Month usually celebrates the local hospitality culture in the month of August through community events hosted by Shoalhaven restaurants and industry representatives.
Di Laver, spokesperson for the recently-established Shoalhaven Food Network (SFN) said there were a few things up the group's sleeve for when things get back to normal.
"We're going to embrace next May and have a whole month chock full of events which will encourage visitation to our region," she said.
"Throughout the month of May, we will be doing major events where we will get celebrity chefs to come down from Sydney and work with chefs from each Shoalhaven township."

Mrs Laver, former senior head teacher of tourism and hospitality at Nowra TAFE said acclaimed chef Peter Doyle from Establishment will be coming to do something at Rick Stein's Bannisers, Sardinian cuisine expert Giovanni Pilu will be hosting an event at Terrara House and celebrity chef Colin Fassnidge will be doing a literary lunch at Huskisson.
"We've even got well-known local artist Max Dingle showing us his risqué portraits of fruits and vegetables at a dinner we will be hosting at Milk Haus in Milton," said Mrs Laver.
"So we're really trying to mix it up and have different things happening."
An evolution of The Huskisson and Jervis Bay Food Network, the community based SFN was formed in June to promote the Shoalhaven food industry through its network of hospitality industry representatives.
"We're an industry body bringing the Shoalhaven together as far as hospitality is concerned, and we're enthused by the number of people that have wanted that have come out to join," said Mrs Laver.
Those who wish to join SFN can do so via secretarysfni@gmail.com. A website is expected to go live soon.
