Mittagong and Burradoo have been named by NSW chief health officer Dr Kerry Chant as areas of concern for increased testing.

Dr Chant listed multiple areas across NSW including: Sydney suburbs, Blayney, Parkes, Wollongong, Mittagong and Burradoo.
Dr Chant did not elaborate on why these sites were named areas of concern.

She urged vigilance "every time we leave our house".
"We do need to make sure we aren't complacent," Dr Chant said.
There were 98 locally-acquired cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm on Sunday, with 20 of those in the community while infectious for more than one day.
NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian said "it's really really important for people to get tested for the mildest of symptoms".
"This Delta strain of the virus makes you more likely to be contagious, to spread it."
