All the other companies they had in Sydney have all been liquidated.
At this time many local trades and services were owed the sum of monies of over $5 million.
Here we are today, not one cent paid to any trade or service with the companies offices gone in Berry and no one being held a accountable for the debit.
Not even the administrators have spoken to any creditor about the debt that is owed in the last 12 months.
Amazing how time goes, that it's okay it will just go away, and to that note some of the directors are back working and think they don't need to pay this money back.
Well I am sorry, but its time for these people to be made accountable.
I am sure the big end of the media will be keen for the story and meanwhile the legal people overseeing this have already been paid a couple of million dollars.
The system is wrong.

Pending closure of Vinnnies at Callala Bay
We have been advised Vinnies in Callala is closing at the end of the month.
The local community and a band of volunteers are devastated with this decision.
It will greatly impact our little community as locals and vacationing visitors love to browse and chat and the feedback is always positive.

Labor's proposed teams for the upcoming council elections
Enough said. The Labor team leader candidates for the upcoming council elections indicate that if elected they will adhere to Labor's ideals.
So here we go again, political agendas before those of the wider community.
Party based ideals on the agenda even before being elected. This is the very kind of idealistic political confusion that has seen the dysfunctional demise of the present council.
Party politics before the community. As an elected member of council, "should that be the case," you will have been elected to serve the, your community, not your political party, nor your own personal ideals.
I know my opinion may seem a bit nave to some but the community is sick and tired of politics stopping council from acting as a unified team of people with one agenda and one agenda only and that is to serve the community that they were elected to serve, regardless of personal or political ideals or agendas.

Basic wage increase needs to be looked at
This week the basic wage hourly rate was increased to $20.33 per hour for some workers.
Those in hospitality, travel and surprisingly retail industries will have to wait until September/November to receive this modest pay increase.
Some employees in aged care nursing and caring roles only receive $23 per hour!
At the same time the last tranche of cuts to penalty rates have been implemented with a drop of 15 per cent in the Sunday penalty rate.
Further the recent decision to lift productivity superannuation contributions from employers by half a per cent has resulted in some employees having this 0.5 per cent increase deducted from their base pay!
While the basic wage increase and lifting of the superannuation rate are welcomed, these should have been implemented across all industries as of July, particularly as some large retailers have recorded record profits over the past year.
