And tonight, their gorgeous rustic caravan that has been their gateway into catering and events will be featured on Better Homes and Gardens at 7pm.
Like many small businesses on the South Coast, Bumpy Road has seen its share of hard times in the last 18 months.
Bushfires and a pandemic meant that strategies and plans were not static, they needed to be proactive, innovative and flexible.
This saw their team steer away from events and into the Shoalhaven business community, trying new things like supporting Jervis Bay Brewing with street food, Camberwarra Hall pop ups, street food at the Berry markets and corporate events.
Networking became the key to them surviving and not having to rely on a wedding industry that non-existent during the pandemic.
Then along came Better Homes and Gardens.
"Best thing we have done so far," said Alyce and Jack about their Better Homes and Gardens experience in Kangaroo Valley.
They were referred to the Better Homes and Gardens team and they had the pleasure in spending the whole day with the film crew, Johanna Griggs and a new resident to the Shoalhaven, Mr Larry Emdur at his Kangaroo Valley property.
"This is an opportunity that came about from excellent reviews and word of mouth," said Jack.
The Better Homes and Gardens episode is airing tonight at 7pm on Channel 7 so tune in to get a glimpse of the Bumpy Road Catering van.
