Set on about two-and-a-half acres on the edge of Budderoo National Park, the five-bedroom, five-bathroom home is located at 8a Brogers Creek Road, Berry.
Andrew McKee and partner Josie Iemma (cousin of former NSW premier Morris) bought the home in 2009.
"We bought the place because we loved the location, the views and the style," Mr McKee said.
"We basically bought it off a guy who went broke with the GFC... The bank had foreclosed on him."
Mr McKee said the previous owner knocked over the original dwelling that was on the property and built the current house, with an eye to utilising it as a holiday let.
"It was a just finished build," Mr McKee said.
"We've added a double garage, an extra room, a bit more storage space and landscaped the whole place."

Mr McKee said among his favourite features of the property was the pond that he had designed and built, as well as the northerly aspect and views to the coast.
"The home would be good for either large families or extended families," he said.
"It's so relaxing - that's the best part of it.
"The house has really been too big for us for a while, but we just love the serenity of the place."
Mr McKee said they were selling because they were planning to downsize to another property they'd bought on Kangaroo Valley Road.
"We're going to build a house there that's just smaller," he said.
Selling agent, Tim McGoldrick from Elders Real Estate Berry said the high-end property featured a custom designed and built home constructed by Berry builders Strongbuild.
He said standout features included "magnificent" views over the local farmland and coast, as well as its privacy and close proximity to local amenities.
