At Bomaderry Oval, a goal by Brodie Chapman in the 65th minute was enough to secure the hosts all three points - who had suffered a draw and a loss, as well as having the bye, during the past three rounds.
This win, the Tigers' sixth of the season, solidified their second spot on the ladder, as they sit on 22 points, just three behind leaders Shoalhaven United - who had the bye on Saturday.
Sitting in third on 18 points is Huskisson-Vincentia, who chalked up their third straight win by downing Milton-Ulladulla 1-nil.
Jim Niemeier's effort in the 68th minute proved the difference between the two sides at the Huskisson Sporting Field.
The Panthers are still in the top four on 17 points, just ahead of Shoalhaven Heads-Berry, who defeated Callala 1-nil at Vic Zealand Oval.
A 90th-minute strike by Matthew White was enough to seal the Sharks' fourth triumph of 2021.
Heads and Manyana both sit on 16 points now, after the latter lost 3-1 to Illaroo.
Despite the match being played at the Manyana Sports Field, goals from Kyle Batalla (fifth minute), Slade Small (58th) and Jarvis Strand (75th) were enough from Andrew Timbs' side.
In the loss, Jack Fay got on the scoresheet for the Wanderers.
The Roos' win moves them onto 12 points, ahead of the bottom two sides Basin and Callala, who are both on 10.
In the next round of the Shoalhaven District Football Association, Callala hosts Manyana, Milton battles Bomaderry, United takes on Heads and Illaroo plays Huskisson, with Basin having the bye.
