TWENTY-TWO of the Shoalhaven District Junior Cricket Association's brightest young stars have been selected for higher honours, by being named in the 2021 Greater Illawarra Regional Academy squads.

Of particular interest is the selection of North Nowra-Cambewarra's Emily Zerafa and Ulladulla United's Tara Rudd, who were both named in the 24-player girl's youth squad, which will be coached by Paul Brockley, Craig Bramble, Travis Burton and Sophie Heath.
Joining this duo is the squad for the July to September program are Illawarra's Keisha Baldwin, Brooke Basu, Alana McEnearney, Tara Kelly, Kobe Lynch-Monro, Lily Savelli, Nina Sager, Amelia Valdez and Ella Yates, South Coast's India Bellhouse, Jessica Bramble, Kiana Donern, Aaliayah Humphries, Tahlia Pracy, Taleha Urszulak, Cadence Waters and Emily Winston and Highlands' Kiera Hol, Beth Zupp, Hilary Swan, Neve Wallace and Annalee Watson.
There were also three boys squads made up of Shoalhaven and South Coast players named, allowing the talented juniors to continue their elite training during the off-season.
Headlining the under 13s are Bay and Basin's Boedi McGowan and Jesse Walters, Batemans Bay's Mason Fardell and Nick Wain, United's Lachlan Barry, Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemens' Kent Ellery and Berry-Shoalhaven Heads' Alec Redlich.
Rounding out that group are South Coast's Joe Burgess, Charlie Edwards, Kody Lawler, Archie O'Hara and Tom Wells.
The under 14s squad features Shoalhaven's Flynn Dunn, Cooper Frawley (both Batemans Bay), Eli Guyatt, Beau Lynch (both Norths), Bailey Parker and Tobias Eyland (both Berry).
Joining that sextet will be South Coast's Kasey Burton, Aiden Campion, Jaycob Constantinou, Ben Fredricks, Lucas Kay, Noah McWilliams and Josh Peters.
Finally, Berry's Campbell Bramley, Ryan Malecki, Matthew Page and Riley Ingram, Basin's Henry Mackay and Daniel Hylton-Cummins and Norths' Cooper Luke were named in the under 15s outfit.
These seven have been selected alongside South Coast's David Coleman, Jacob Coleman, Loghan Lawler, Darcy Norris, Jaiden Robinson, Jarryd White and Noah Wraight.
These three boys squad will be coached by Bay's Andrew Malcolm, with the help of Chris Labb, Neil Hay and Matt O'Hara.
