Running for five days, bricklaying teachers Troy Everett and Brenden Hepper visited Vincentia High School to provide lessons on bricklaying, showing them what it takes to see a project from start to finish.
Mr Everett was impressed with the students' willingness to learn and test their new skills.
"The aim of this course is to give them real world skills that will make them attractive to employ," he said.
"Every day, they're getting more enthusiastic and we've got a lot of really great comments about it from the students."

Seven year 11 studens signed up to the program and were given the opportunity to build what they wanted and they chose a school 'suggestion box'.
The program is offered to maths students, to encourage them that the subject is valuable for industries including bricklaying.
"There's a lot of generic skills that are useful in all careers," said Mr Everett.
"And even though bricklaying is very manually oriented, there's a lot of thinking, there's a lot of setting out this calculation of the products and calculation of the bill."
