Make Music Day Australia began in 2018.
The event saw more than 100 events in 80 locations register an event on the Make Music Day Australia website.
These numbers doubled in 2019 and again in 2020 when online events became a feature and the program of events was truly national.
The day officially occurs on June 21, the summer solstice in Europe, but the Nowra Make Music Day will sneak in early on Saturday, June 19.
Along with the three local choirs, the concert at the Nowra School of Arts will also feature Olivia Corish, an award-winning singer, songwriter whose music spans many genres, including opera, music theatre, Christian and contemporary indie/folk.
The concert starts at 3pm and in the spirit of Make Music Day, there is no charge.
