Kiama had trailed at quarter time, the main break and three-quarter time, before booting three goals to nil in the final term to claim an 11.7-73 to 8.12-60 win over the reigning premiers at Figtree Oval.
Charlie Wood and Ben Williams kicked three majors apiece while Noah Wood was among the standouts for the winners.
It is only the third loss that the Roos have suffered in the past two seasons - two of those defeats have come against the Power in Figtree.
"We got them there last year too, so we like it there," Kiama coach Rod Richards said.
"On Saturday, we were tougher at it and stayed in the contest for longer than them.
"We went in there with some pretty tough heads just to keep trucking in there all day, so the outcome was exactly what we expected."
The victory consolidates the Power's hold of third spot on the Men's Premier Division ladder, but edges them closer to the Kangaroos.
After last week's narrow loss to the Lions, Richards was pleased with his side's response on Saturday.
"It was an important win, especially because we expected to beat Wollongong when we hit the lead with a minute to go, and they scored again to beat us," he said.
"You might pick that one up, but you don't necessarily expect to win the one on Saturday, so it keeps it all close to par which is alright."
Elsewhere, the Bulldogs bounced back from their first loss in 2021 last week to claim a comprehensive 19.17-131 to 5.1-31 win at Hollymount Park, while the Lions sealed a 14.10-94 to 7.8-50 victory over the Suns at Myimbarr Oval.
In the women's premier division, Kiamd downed Saints 7.4-46 to 3.1-19, Bomaderry drew with Lions 4.2-26 to 4.2-26 and the Dogs smashed Norths 13.16-94 to 2.0-12.
