DESPITE playing at their home ground Ison Park, the South East Phoenix proved no match for National Premier League Two opponents Sutherland Shire on Sunday.
The visitors won four of the five round nine matches, with the Phoenix securing their only point of the day in the under 14s fixture - which ended in a 2-all draw.

During that draw, the two goal-scorers for Zoe Anderson's side were Lily Heckenberg and Lillian Skelly - with Sophia Parker netting both the visitors' goals.
In the under 15s game, despite a strike from skipper Beth Tomlinson, the Phoenix, coached by Brittany Anderson, lost 3-1.
Wayne Paton's under 17s team also lost 3-1 to their northern rivals, with Mia Riza being the only South East player to get her name on the scoresheet.
The reserve grade clash between the two clubs also ended at 3-1, despite Shaylee Meehan's effort for the hosts.
Finally, Norm Boardman's first grade outfit went down 6-nil to the Sydney-based club.
All five teams will be looking to rebound on Sunday when they host UNSW FC at South Nowra.
The under 14s will start the five-game slate at 8.30am before the under 15s (9.55am), under 17s (11.25am), reserve grade (1.05pm) and first grade (3pm) sides take to the field.
