At the Shoalhaven Indoor Sports Centre, both division two side were slow out of the blocks, as the hosts led 16-13 at the end of a low-scoring first quarter.
The grinding affair continued in the second term, as both side's tough defence stifled each other's chance of gaining any sort of momentum.
At the half, the black and golds led 30-26.
After a stern talking to by coach Ben Morris, the Cubs came out and flew the Magic off the court in the third - outscoring their rivals 35-15, to led by 24 points heading into the final period.
The hosts continued their offensive onslaught in the fourth quarter, running out winners 90-56 - to move into third spot on the Waratah League ladder.
In the 34-point win, Jeremy Harding paced the Tigers with 19 points, as Brayden Morris (16), Alexander Kessell (12), Jesse Peters (10) and Austin Collings (10) all reached double-figures too.
Next up for the 6-1 Cubs is a home game against the Orange Eagles, tipping off at 6pm on Saturday at the new Den.
