At Ison Park, Zoe Anderson's side chalked up their fourth win of the campaign by downing the Saints 4-2.
An incredible four goals from Lily Heckenburg set up the win, which moves the Phoenix onto 13 points - seeing them sit just five points off leaders Marconi in fifth position.
This unfortunately was the only victory for South East during round eight.
They did manage a 1-all draw in the under 17s fixture, with Charlotte Last scoring for Wayne Paton's side.
South East then lost the under 15s (1-nil), reserve grade (1-nil) and first grade (8-nil) fixtures to the Saints.
Next round, all five South East sides will once again play at the South Nowra venue, with under 14s kicking off the five-game slate at 8.30am before the under 15s (9.55am), under 17s (11.25am), reserve grade (1.05pm) and first grade (3pm) sides take to the field.
