Ford, who has only made three appearances off the bench for the Dragons in 2021, will start for St George Illawarra on Friday night against Cronulla-Sutherland at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium.
He will partner Josh Kerr in the back-row, with fellow Lions junior Tariq Sims being suspended - while Albion Park-Oak Flats's Adam Clune has been named as the club's 18th man for the clash.
On the other hand, Murchie, who has only started two of his seven appearances this season, is in the second-row alongside Ben Murdoch-Masila for the Warriors game with Wests Tigers at Central Coast Stadium on Friday.
Joining Murchie, who is a Milton-Ulladulla junior, in the starting 13 is Shellharbour's Euan Aitken - who has been named at centre.
These are just a handful of South Coast talents named to take the field during round 11 of the 2021 premiership.
On Thursday night, the Cowboys will host the Knights, coached by Batemans Bay's Adam O'Brien, at Queensland Country Bank Stadium - which will kick-off the exciting round.
Lining up for the Sharks against the Red V will be duo Teig Wilton (Narooma) and Jack Williams (Pambula-born) - who will both start from the bench.
Saturday's slate will start with the Titans taking on the Bulldogs at Cbus Super Stadium.
The former's side is coached by Milton-Ulladulla's Justin Holbrook and features Kiama's Mitch Rein at nine, while Tathra's Adam Elliott will start on the four-man bench for the Dogs.
Later that night, the Roosters will battle the Broncos at the Sydney Cricket Ground, with the Tri-Colours side being headlined by Kiama centre Josh Morris.
Moruya's Rhys Kennedy is on the bench for the Broncos.
The final match that night will see the Raiders lock horns with the Storm - who have Bega's Dale Finucane starting at lock.
On Sunday, Nowra-born Cody Walker will revert back to six when his Rabbitohs play the league-leading Panthers in Dubbo.
Finally, Batemans Bay's Brad Arthur and his Eels entertain the Sea Eagles at Bankwest Stadium, with the visitors side containing Gerringong's Reuben Garrick on the wing.
