During game one of the Shoalhaven Indoor Sports Centre's double-header, the two sides traded baskets during the opening term of the Waratah League division two clash - with the hosts going into the break up 20-18.
The Cubs stepped it up a notch in the second period - outscoring their rivals by 15 points - to lead 42-25 at half-time.
The black and golds kept that momentum going in the third, by winning the term 22-8, to hold a commanding 31-point lead heading into the fourth.
It was all one-way traffic in the fourth, as the Tigers run out winners by 37 points.
In the win, Alexander Kessell top-scored with 18 points, with teammates Jeremy Harding (15), Austin Collings (12) and Jesse Peters (11) also reaching double-figures.
Next up for the Cubs is a trip to the Mount Annan Leisure Centre to play the Camden Valley Wildfire from 5pm Saturday.
