At the Kiama Showground, the visitors opened the scoring in the 11th minute when a shift to the left saw Kieran Brandon put his brother Mark over in the corner.
Mark Brandon failed to convert and the Jets led 4-nil.
Ben Wellington's troops were up and about early, as they had a second soon after when Steven Brandon dived on a dropped Tom Atkins ball and ran 50 metres before finding centre Jayden Brodie to score under the posts.
Mark Brandon converted and it was 10-nil after 17 minutes.
Six minutes later, the Jets had their third, when Steven Brandon, following a strong run from Kuyan Wellington, darted out of dummy-half, sprinted 20 metres and evaded numerous Knights defenders to score.
His brother Mark converted and the visitors led by 16.
Marc Laird's side finally got on the board in the 27th minute when Dylan Morris and Brad Killmore linked up, with the latter stepping through the line to score.
He converted his own try and the Jets' lead was down to 10.
That advantage stretched back out to two converted tries when Mark Brandon slotted a penalty goal from right in front in the 31st minute.
Just before the break, the hosts had their second when Kieran Poole sent prop Tyler Clark over.
Killmore's added extras made it 18-12 at the break.
That momentum carried into the second half, with Poole grabbing a four-pointer of his own just after the resumption.
Killmore's kick levelled up the scores with 36 minutes to play.
The hosts grabbed their first lead in the 55th minute when Dylan Morris' sleight of hand put a charging Joel Carrol over.
Killmore missed the kick but Kiama led 22-18.
Twelve minutes later, Dylan Morris again threw the last pass for a Kiama try and this time the recipient was Ty Closs, who slammed it down with his right hand.
Killmore failed to convert from near the left touchline but the hosts still led by eight.
The win was iced when Lachie Farrell found Dylan Morris, who then put his older brother Matt over to score.
Killmore converted and the final score was 32-18.
The Knights, who completed at 85 per cent in the second half compared to 40 per cent in the first, now move to 3-1 on the year and face the Albion Park-Oak Flats Eagles at Centenary Field on Sunday.
While the Jets, who drop to 1-2, host the winless Stingrays next Sunday at Rugby Park.
