Shoals overcame their season's biggest test of 2021 thanks to tries from Mark Brandon (two), Steve Brandon, Angus Maddinson and Harri Hibbs.
Brothers Mark (two conversions and one penalty) and Keiran Brandon (one conversion) rounded out the win at the Campbelltown Showground with their boots.
The match also marked former Australian sevens player Tom Connor's first back in Shoals colours in 15 years - made all the more special with his dad coaching the side.
Shoals lost 24-nil to the Harlequins in second grade.
Elsewhere in first grade, Camden downed Tech Waratahs 20-14, Vikings smashed University 38-19, Kiama edged Bowral 22-19 and Shamrocks upset Avondale 22-19 - handing the latter their first loss of the season.
These results leave Shoals, the only remaining undefeated team, in second (28 points) behind Campbelltown (30), with a game in hand.
Avondale is third in 26, followed by Shamrocks (25), Vikings (23), Bowral (16), Tech Waratahs (10), Kiama (nine), Camden (nine) and University (four).
Next Saturday, Shoals, who are now 6-0, will host Avondale at Rugby Park.
