The Hawks signed Jessup as a Next Star out of Boise State last August and he has impressed since landing in Wollongong, averaging over 14 points and four rebounds per game this season.
His performances have been closely watched by Golden State, with Warriors scout Michael Lee at several games.
The 22-year-old has also caught the eye of Harvey, who said "I 100 per cent believe he should be in the NBA next year".
"I tell him that all of the time, you've got to believe in yourself first, and I know he does," Harvey said.
"But I also know that now he's not too worried about that, he's focused on this season finishing up.
"He's a great kid and works hard every single day.
"You know what you're going to get from him, night in, night out in the league.
"He gets his business down and goes home, and then goes about his day again.
"So I think the NBA will definitely appreciate that."
