"The Slow Down Project" a collection of landscape images by well-known South Coast photographer Peter Izzard will wrap up at the Fern Street Gallery, Gerringong this Sunday, May 9.

The exhibit is a special collection of landscape images from his travels here, there and back again.
"This exhibition reflects a story that often plays in my head about the unsustainable pace of modern life, which is hectic," Mr Izzard said.

"These images are from when I've allowed myself to spend a significant amount of time in the one place, being fully immersed, and still.
"The longer I wait the more the images reveal themselves.
"I'm so grateful to have the freedom to be able to go out into the world mostly as I please, and to experience and capture through my lens what I see around me."
Mr Izzard said the response to the exhibit has been positive.
"Even with all this rain it's been great to see people coming in to check out the exhibition," he said.
"It's been really nice to reconnect with some I haven't seen for a while, and meet some lovely new friends too."
"The Slow Down Project" by Peter Izzard is on show at the Fern Street Gallery, Gerringong, from 10am-4pm and closes Sunday at 4pm.
