At the 2021 Australian Age Swimming Championships at the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre, Irvine competed in five events during the April 5-12 carnival.

Her best result came in the 14 year girls 400 mete individual medley, where she claimed the bronze medal.

Irvine's time of 5:04.97 saw her just edged out by winner Taryn Roberts (4:49.07) and Haylee Reid (5:03.80).

The Bob McEvoy-coached swimmer just missed out on a second medal in the 200 metre individual medley, where she finished fourth in a time of 2:24.01.

Rounding out Irvine's busy schedule was a 10^th in the 200 metre backstroke (2:26.91), a 12^th in the 200 metre breaststroke (2:48.06) and a 15^th in the 100 metre backstroke.

"My goal at the start of the year was to make the top 10 in Australia," Irvine said.

"To achieve that in three of my five events is amazing and then to medal is next level."
