The Mariners have had a lot of new local players who have never played baseball before come and join the club, which is great for the sport.
On top of that, numerous young and upcoming ACT players set to make their first trip across to the Shoalhaven this weekend.
The Mariners will field teams in second and third grade on Saturdays, with fourth, fifth and sixth grade on Sunday.
This coming Saturday, April 10 will see both the Mariners' second and third grade sides play their first home games of the season.
Third grade will start proceedings at South Nowra's Ison Park at 9am against the Northern Pirates, before second grade takes to the diamond against the same club at 11.30am.
Then on Sunday, Shoalhaven heads up to Dapto's Hector Harvey Park to battle the Panthers in all three grades.
Sixth grade will start the three-game slate at 9.15am, before fifth grade at 11.45am and fourths at 2.15pm.
