The Royal Australian Navy is providing support to the NSW Government following a request for assistance in response to the recent flooding event across the state.

The two helicopters and crews are providing aerial search and rescue support.

The Royal Australian Air Force base at Richmond is also being used as a staging area for NSW SES helicopters.
