
Hitting the terrain at Sussex Inlet, dozens of business leaders raised $1.2 million for The Smith Family last week.
The annual Smith Family Challenge involves completing a 100 kilometre off road race involving running, trekking, mountain biking and kayaking.

Participants in the event, which included executives and leaders from Domain, Morgan Stanley, PwC, Walker Corp, and Quantium, paid the full cost of entering the race.

100 per cent of the funds went towards the Smith Family's Learning for Life program, which provides financial assistance for children coming from disadvantaged backgrounds.
In is 14th year, the event has raised $7 million for the program since its inception.
Raising over $238,000, Komoko Private Island raised the most money as a team.
