Hailing from Gerringong, Jacob Finch (vocals), Lukas Anderson (lead guitar) and Ben Salvo (rhythm guitar) taught one another to play instruments from their share house during the 2020 lockdown, joining in on the '"covered-19" trend on social media.
Now, with a fair few gigs under their belt and two additional band members, Cameron Cooper (drums) and Trent Cooper (bass), the band are rising - with their music often played on national radio and the announcement of tour dates this morning.
Just coming off the back of a show in Sydney, the band will be hitting local stages for their 'Our Paradise' ep tour in Wollongong, April 7 and in Thirroul, April 23.
"Sydney was epic. It's always crazy to see random faces in the crowd wearing your merch, it's all very surreal," says the bands front man, Jacob.
"We can't wait to play some local shows."

Named after their "legendary" landlord, Jacob says Terry has become a bit of an icon, who attended their gig at the Oxford Art Factory last Friday.
"Terry's a true blue Aussie battler," says Jacob.
"One day it just hit me when we were struggling for a band name. We ran it by him and once we got the all clear from big Tezz, there was no going back.
"In Sydney on the weekend people were loving him and getting photos with him, he's pretty famous now."
Two weeks ago, the band felt honoured to be Triple J's Feature Artist of the week - which is the stations initiative to showcase upcoming artists.
"We always wanted to get on Triple J but we didn't expect it to happen this fast," says Jacob.
"It was all sorts of emotions, it was amazing."
Drawing inspiration from their love of homegrown music and a variety of different sounds, the five mates produce a raw surf-rock genre with hooky guitars and fast drums.
"We love Australian music, we love UK music, we love rock and we love alternative," says Jacob.
"We're a bit of a fusion of all these different sounds while being all about good times and being happy."
While popular mainstream artists have established names for their fanbases, like Ariana Grande's Arianators or Beyonce's BeyHive - the Terrys have their 'Terry-dactyls' - which can be found squawking in the crowd at their shows.
"Our friend came up with the Terry-dactyls, and we always used to make up names, but I was on stage once and I said Terry-dactyls and our friend starting squawking like a pteradactyl would," says Jacob.
"Then we got him on stage to squawk in the microphone to show everyone what to do. We thought it was the funniest thing in the world to have the whole crowd squawking at us so we try to keep it going for our shows.
"It's also nice to have a little name for your fans. It's cheesy, but it's funny and we want to keep things not too crazily serious."
The band no longer all live together in their Gerringong share house, however they still live close by scattered along the South Coast.
In asking Jacob whether living together ever challenged them as a band, he says it was actually "pretty much the perfect scenario."
"We always wanted to make a song and jam but it wasn't until the world got locked down until we really honed in on it together, so being close worked in our benefit more than anything else," says Jacob.
"We don't get sick of each other. We love each other, we're like family which means we also fight like brothers, but I think that's healthy for a band too."
